From the photos it really looks like the parachute stopped the plane and threw it into the ground. Luckily, both the skydiver and pilot walked away. The photo sequence can be found here on NBC News: !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!!

Holy shit. That is a phenomenal sequence of pictures. It just looks surreal. Good to hear that both pilot and skydiver are both OK.
